The agenda of the Third Session of the 16th Shanghai People’s Congress has been released
The agenda for the Third Session of the 16th People’s Congress of Shanghai Municipality (approved at the preparatory meeting on January 14, 2025) is as follows:
I. To listen to and review the report on the work of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government
II. To review and approve the report on the implementation of Shanghai’s 2024 national economic and social development plan along with the draft plan for 2025, and to approve the city’s national economic and social development plan for 2025
III. To review and approve the report on Shanghai’s 2024 budget execution and the draft budget for 2025, as well as approve the city’s budget for 2025 at the municipal level
IV. To listen to and review the report of work presented by the Standing Committee of the Shanghai People’s Congress
V. To listen to and review the report on the work of Shanghai High People’s Court
VI. To listen to and review the report on the work of Shanghai People’s Procuratorate
VII. To conduct a supplementary election for members of the Standing Committee of Shanghai People’s Congress.
