Huang Haikun, member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and secretary of the Party Committee of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, has been added as a member of Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Conference Committee.
According to the Fujian Newly News client, on January 3rd, the 10th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th Provincial Political Consultative Conference was held in Fuzhou, where personnel matters were reviewed and approved. Due to work needs, the following comrades were agreed to be added as members of the 13th Fujian Provincial Political Consultative Committee: Ma Yong, Wang Huizhong, Wen Xuelin, Lv Xiaodong, Liu Danyan, Liu Zhuxiong, Liu Zhengdong, Liu Xiaoqun, Wu Minghong, Wu Zhuzhi, Wu Tianfu, He Dongning, Song Lin, Zhang Qiang, Chen Yuanshou, Chen Qiuli, Lin Jinchuan, Lin Jinxian, Zhou Hongyan, Shi Jiahao, Xu Guoqing, Weng Ruoping, Guo Chunfang, Huang Jianxiong, Huang Haikun, You Ye and Xie Zhizhao.
Among them, Huang Haikun is now a member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of the Political and Legal Commission.
Huang Haikun is a male member of the Han ethnic group born in May 1965 in Guigang, Guangxi. He joined the Communist Party of China in January 1986 and began working in July 1987. He graduated from the Public Administration major at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore with a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
Huang Haikun has long worked in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. He served as the Deputy Secretary and Mayor of钦州市，Party Secretary of Yulin City，and was promoted to Deputy Governor of Fujian Province in May 2021. Subsequently, he served as the Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Fujian Provincial Public Security Department. At the beginning of 2023, Huang Haikun served as a member of the Standing Committee of Fujian Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of the Political and Legal Commission.
