Ding Xiongjun, Director of Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, was investigated during his term of office. He used to be the chairman of Moutai Group.
According to a January 2nd report on the website of the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervisory Committee, Ding Xiaojun, secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau (Guizhou Provincial Intellectual Property Administration Bureau), is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and is currently under investigation by the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervisory Committee.
Ding Xiaojun previously served as the chairman of Moutai Group and was appointed to his current position in April 2024.
Born in August 1974, Ding Xiaojun previously served as secretary of the贵阳市人民政府, secretary of the Party Committee of the High-tech District of Guiyang, secretary of the Party Committee of Baiyun District, and deputy secretary general of Guizhou Provincial Government. In 2013, he became deputy secretary general of Guizhou Provincial Government. In 2016, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the Bijie Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor in charge of routine work of the municipal government. In 2018, he was appointed as secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of Guizhou Provincial Energy Bureau.
In August 2021, Ding Xiaojun took over from Gao Weidong who fell into trouble as the secretary and chairman of Moutai Group. He remained in this position until April 2024 when he was appointed as secretary of the Party Leadership Group and director of Guizhou Provincial Market Supervision and Administration Bureau (Guizhou Provincial Intellectual Property Administration Bureau).
Ding Xiaojun is a representative to the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, a representative to the 14th National People’s Congress, and a member of the 13th Guizhou Provincial Party Committee.
