— A batch of important laws will be implemented
In 2025, several important laws will be implemented: The Energy Law of the People’s Republic of China will be implemented from January 1; the Academic Degrees Law of the People’s Republic of China will be implemented from January 1; the newly revised Cultural Relics Protection Law of China will be implemented from March 1; and Rural Collective Economic Organization Law of China will be implemented from May 1. The newly revised Supervision Law of China and Childcare Education Law will be implemented from June 1. These laws are highly concerned about energy security, standardizing degree awarding work, cultural relic protection, rights and interests of rural collective economic organizations and their members, anti-corruption work, and children’s rights.
— Major developments in Chinese aerospace industry
In 2025, China’s manned space program plans to implement three flight missions: Shenzhou 20, Shenzhou 21, and Tianzhou 9. In planetary exploration, the Tianwen II mission is planned to be launched around 2025 with a main goal of asteroid exploration. It will target a near-earth asteroid for close fly-by and sample return. In addition, according to previous news, “lunar soil bricks” simulated by Chinese scientists using lunar soil composition will be sent to the space station via Tianzhou 8 for space exposure experiments to confirm their suitability for building houses on the moon. After completing space experiments, the first “lunar soil brick” is expected to return to Earth by late 2025.
