The third session of the 16th People’s Congress of Shanghai will be held from January 15 to 18 next year.
The Third Session of the Sixteenth People’s Congress of Shanghai will be held from January 15 to January 18, 2025, with a preparatory meeting taking place on the afternoon of January 14.
The proposed agenda for the Third Session of the Sixteenth People’s Congress of Shanghai includes: hearing and reviewing the work report of the Shanghai Municipal Government; examining and approving the report on the implementation of the 2024 National Economic and Social Development Plan and the draft of the 2025 National Economic and Social Development Plan, as well as approving the 2025 National Economic and Social Development Plan for Shanghai; reviewing and approving the report on the execution of the 2024 budget and the draft of the 2025 budget, as well as approving the 2025 municipal budget for Shanghai; hearing and reviewing the work report of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai People’s Congress; hearing and reviewing the work report of the Shanghai Higher People’s Court; and hearing and reviewing the work report of the Shanghai People’s Procuratorate, among other matters.
