In Beijing and Tianjin, the winter vacation for compulsory education will be from January 12, 2025, to February 16, totaling 5 weeks and 1 day. For non-compulsory education, the winter vacation will be from January 19, 2025, to February 16, totaling 4 weeks and 1 day.

The winter vacation for primary and middle schools in Shanghai will start on January 20, 2025, and end on February 14, lasting a total of 26 days.

The winter vacation for primary and middle schools as well as kindergartens in Jiangsu Province is tentatively scheduled to begin on January 20, 2025, with the spring semester starting on February 17, making the winter vacation a total of 28 days.
