Auction Announcement Raises Eyebrows

Recently, the Harbin Auction House released an announcement for the 26th Harbin Ice and Snow World project auction, which has garnered significant attention. Notably, the starting bid for selling locations for tanghulu (candied fruit on a stick) is set at 1 million yuan. Successful bidders will need to provide their own container housing.

According to the auction announcement, the “26th Ice and Snow World Business Services Recruitment Registration Form” stipulates that participating businesses must possess a business license, food operation license, and food production license (with a validity of at least one year, registered in Heilongjiang Province, and categorized under the special number for tanghulu, 3101). The products sold must meet the approval requirements of relevant authorities, and within ten days of a successful bid, bidders must submit quality inspection reports for at least five different products from the latest batches.

Clarification on Auction Pricing

The starting price of 1 million yuan for the tanghulu sales points has raised questions among the public. The auction house clarified that this price is a bundled offer for nine sales points.

The registration form specifies that after a successful bid, operators must adhere to the product specifications and guiding prices set by Ice and Snow World. Violating pricing regulations could result in warnings and fines, with significant violations leading to deductions from the operational deposit.

Detailed Operational Requirements

The registration form also indicates that there are nine tanghulu sales points available. Successful bidders must provide their own container housing, with specific size requirements of 3 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.7 meters in height. The container must conform to the artistic design of the park, which is estimated to cost around 500,000 yuan, to be borne by the bidder. Operations can only commence after passing an inspection to ensure compliance with the park’s standards.

Furthermore, the auction announcement includes specific regulations regarding the tanghulu to be sold. For instance, a string of six strawberries must weigh 285 grams and be priced at 30 yuan; a string of nine hawthorn berries must weigh 95 grams and be priced at 15 yuan; and a mixed fruit tanghulu with six varieties must weigh 260 grams and be priced at 25 yuan. Fresh ingredients must be sourced from reputable manufacturers, and a minimum of five varieties must be offered during the operational period, along with corresponding quality inspection reports.

Auction Process and Participation

On November 24, a reporter from Hongxing News contacted the Harbin Auction House, confirming that the announcement is indeed accurate and pertains to the bundled price for the nine tanghulu sales points.

Potential bidders are advised to search for “Harbin Auction House” on the auction platform. The announcement provides an attachment with the registration form. Bidders need to present original and photocopied relevant documents, along with the registration form for a qualification review. Upon passing this review, they can proceed to complete the auction registration.

According to the auction announcement, interested bidders must provide the required qualification documents as specified in the auction materials, download the registration form from the auction platform, and complete the qualification review at Harbin Ice and Snow World by 12 PM on November 25, 2024. After obtaining confirmation from Ice and Snow World, bidders must bring valid identification and the bidding deposit to the Harbin Auction House by 12 PM on November 26, 2024, to finalize the registration process.
