On November 14, at a regular press conference, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed a question from a Bloomberg reporter regarding reports that Ukraine’s allies would seek to pressure China over North Korea’s support for Russia during the G20 summit in Brazil.
Lin stated, “This is a hypothetical question, and I will not comment on it. What I can tell you is that China’s position on the Ukraine issue has remained consistent and clear. China’s constructive role has been widely recognized by the international community.”
