Temperatures will first rise and then fall, with a strong cold air mass affecting the region north of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River early next month.

On November 30, the China Meteorological Administration released weather information stating that there would be no large-scale rain or snow across the country from November 30 to December 1. Temperatures in the northeast and regions south of the Huai River would continue to rise, with the maximum temperature in the northeast region increasing by 4-8°C, and locally by more than 10°C.

From December 1 to 3, a relatively strong cold air mass would affect areas north of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, causing temperatures to drop by 4-6°C in most regions. In particular, temperature drops of 8-10°C, and locally exceeding 12°C, were expected in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, northern Hebei, eastern Liaoning, eastern Jilin, Heilongjiang, and other places. These regions would also experience winds of 4-6 grade, with gusts of 7-8 grade and locally reaching 9 grade. From November 30 to December 2, light to moderate snow or sleet would occur in northeastern Inner Mongolia, the northeast region, as well as northern and southwestern Xinjiang, with locally heavy or even blizzard conditions.

Additionally, from December 2 to 5, light to moderate rain was forecast for southeastern Northwest China, eastern Southwest China, southern Huanghuai, and regions further south. Some areas in western Henan, southeastern Shaanxi, and northwestern Hubei would see sleet or snow.
