Currently, 13 provinces have announced the dates for their provincial people’s congresses next year. These include Ningxia, Hunan, Henan, Hebei, Yunnan, Jiangxi, Fujian, Jiangsu, Shaanxi, Liaoning, Shanxi, Guizhou, and Shandong.
On November 28, the 13th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th People’s Congress of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region decided that the Third Session of the 13th People’s Congress of the Autonomous Region will be held in Yinchuan on January 19, 2025.
On November 29, the 13th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Hunan Province voted to decide that the Third Session of the 14th People’s Congress of Hunan Province will be held in Changsha in mid-January 2025.
On November 28, the 12th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Henan Province passed a decision: The Third Session of the 14th People’s Congress of Henan Province will be held in Zhengzhou on January 18, 2025. If it is necessary to adjust the convening time of the congress, the Presidium of the Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee is authorized to make the decision and announce it to the public.
On November 28, the 12th Meeting of the Standing Committee of the 14th People’s Congress of Hebei Province passed a decision: The Third Session of the 14th People’s Congress of Hebei Province will be held in Shijiazhuang from the morning of January 13 (Monday) to the morning of January 16 (Thursday) 2025, with an official session of three and a half days.
