A Woman in Anhui Used Another’s Identity to Participate in National College Entrance Exam and High School Entrance Exam, Xinjiang Medical University Cancels Her Enrollment

Recently, an announcement was posted on the official website of Xinjiang Medical University:
Song Efeng (real name: Sun Yaping), female, Han ethnicity, originating from Anhui Province, student ID 202107100501564, ID number: 3412212001********.
Since 2015, this student has impersonated another individual to participate in the middle school entrance examination and the college entrance examination, and in September 2021, was admitted to study Chinese Medicine at Xinjiang Medical University. In accordance with Article 37 of the “Regulations on the Administration of Students in Ordinary Higher Educational Institutions” (Order No. 41 of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China) and Article 11 of the “Interim Measures for Handling Violations in Enrollment of Ordinary Higher Educational Institutions” (Order No. 36 of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China), after deliberation by the 8th Presidential Office Meeting of Xinjiang Medical University on August 26, 2024, the decision was made to cancel the enrollment of Song Efeng (real name: Sun Yaping). The announcement period is from October 28, 2024, to November 3, 2024. This is hereby announced.
Previously, on October 18 of this year, Xinjiang Medical University had already published in the announcement section of the “Legal Daily”: Song Efeng (real name: Sun Yaping), female, Han ethnicity, ID number: 3412212001********, due to impersonating another individual to obtain admission qualifications, after deliberation by the Presidential Office Meeting, the decision was made to cancel the enrollment of Song Efeng. This is hereby announced.
The predecessor of Xinjiang Medical University, Xinjiang Medical College, was one of the 156 key projects in the nation’s “First Five-Year Plan”. In July 1954, the construction of Xinjiang Medical College commenced. Under the care of the Party Central Committee, the Central Ministry of Health successively dispatched over a hundred teaching, medical, and administrative personnel from 15 provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shandong, Jiangsu, and Liaoning to support its construction. In October 1956, Xinjiang Medical College began enrolling students. In June 1998, Xinjiang Medical College merged with Xinjiang Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine to form Xinjiang Medical University. In August 2016, the People’s Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the former National Health and Family Planning Commission, and the Ministry of Education jointly issued the “Opinions on Jointly Establishing Xinjiang Medical University”, formally making the university a joint project of ministries, commissions, and provinces.
According to the “2021 Anhui Province Admission Information of Xinjiang Medical University” provided by the admission website of Xinjiang Medical University, the university admitted 5 undergraduate students in Chinese Medicine from Anhui in 2021, with the highest score being 495 and the lowest score being 491.
