In Beijing and Tianjin, the winter vacation for compulsory education will run from January 12, 2025, to February 16, totaling 5 weeks and 1 day. For non-compulsory education, the winter vacation will be from January 19, 2025, to February 16, totaling 4 weeks and 1 day.
In Shanghai, the winter vacation for primary and secondary schools will commence on January 20, 2025, and conclude on February 14, lasting a total of 26 days.
In Jiangsu Province, the winter vacation for primary and secondary schools, as well as kindergartens, is tentatively scheduled to begin on January 20, 2025, with the spring semester starting on February 17, making the winter vacation a total of 28 days.
